Although the tweets were earlier in the year, it appears that Peruzzi had been holding a grudge and was waiting to get his pound of flesh. His opportunity finally came when he met the influencer at the airport after they arrived from an event at Port Harcourt.
A confrontation occurred during which the musician slapped the influencer with some help from his security details.
Following the backlash, Peruzzi has gone online to apologize for hitting the influencer.
The head of his record label, Davido has also apologized while also stating that celebrities are also humans too.
