How does one take on the US Food and Drug
Administration's (FDA) rules about gay men giving blood? Use a Taylor
Swift song, of course.
Jake Wilson took Taylor Swift's massive hit Bad Blood and turned it into a call to change FDA restrictions. Since 1977, men who have had sex with other men have not been allowed to donate blood in the United States. A new proposed guideline
might finally lift this ban - but with restrictions. Gay and bisexual
men would be allowed to donate blood, but only if they haven't had sex
with another man in the last 12 months. The parody - Sad Studs -
has been watched more than 200,000 times on YouTube, and Wilson is
asking for watchers to tell the FDA what they think of the restriction. Produced by Elena Boffetta

Andre Borschberg spoke to the BBC as he approached the front. He said
it was "an incredible moment" to be in the middle of the Pacific and
that he felt like he could fly forever in the craft.
