The world is without one bright smile today following the death of actor Alan Thicke.
The 69-year-old passed away on Tuesday afternoon, suffering from a heart attack while playing hockey at the Pickwick Gardens ice rink in Burbank, Calif., with his son, Carter Thicke. He was transported to the nearby Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center around noon and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
E! News has spoken to an insider who was at the ice rink with Alan just hours before his tragic passing.
"He was in great spirits. His son Carter was skating with us as well," the source shared. "He was in a very happy mood [Tuesday] morning while they were dressing together."

The insider recalled exactly what happened.
"Alan had taken a few shifts and seemed to be fine. Then during a shift, he seemed to falter, and skated to the bench," the source explained. "He was sitting on the bench, hunched over, then started experiencing pain. He laid down and started moaning loudly, holding his head. We called 911 and the paramedics came within two to three minutes. He was conscious and had stopped moaning by the time they took him out and to the hospital."
In fact, the insider says the paramedics seemed calm. "They were not frantic in any way, and we got the impression that they had stabilized him and he'd be OK."
Our source confirmed just why the world will be a little less bright without him, revealing, "Alan always had a smile and a kind word. He loved hockey and especially loved playing with Carter."

Robin Thicke also spoke to The Los Angeles Times, saying Alan was "the greatest man I ever met" and "always a gentleman." Though he is devastated, he noted, "The good thing was that he was beloved and he had closure. I saw him a few days ago and told him how much I loved and respected him."

Alan was married to Tanya Callau at the time of his passing. He is survived by her and his three children, Robin, Carter and Brennan Thicke.

Snoop Dogg found himself in trouble with Italian Customs agents because he was carrying too much money when he entered the country.

You know how they ask you to declare money you have in your possession if it's over $10k? Well Snoop was stopped at an Italian airport with approximately $422,000 in cash in his Louis Vuitton luggage, said an Italian lawyer representing him.

Half of the money was impounded by Italian customs, the other half will be given to him after they determine how fines he will pay.

"We clarified everything from a legal point of view. The money came from concerts he had performed around Europe. There was no crime; it was just an administrative infraction," Parisi, his Italian lawyer said.

Hopefully this tour gets better for him and he returns home to the US without anymore incident

Following his performance in Cyprus, Chris Brown discussed his friendship with Rihanna. He was asked about his decision to perform Rihanna’s chart-topping hit, “B**** Better Have My Money” during his live show and he said that he had nothing but love for ex Rihanna.

“She’s my homie though. We knew each other since we were 14, 15 so with that kind of history, we are always going to be cool. I don’t get jealous, I don’t get mad. I got nothing but love and respect for her. 

“I respect her as an artist. Obviously people are going to make a spectacle, like, ‘Oh, he’s playing her music!’ But who doesn’t? I’m pretty sure she plays my music.”

Breezy opens up about what fans can expect from his new album.

“The new stuff that we got coming, the new album and also the new stuff, when y’all see the show…man I can’t wait. That’s on my number one list for 2015, for real,” Brown admits.

 

A source claim that Brown has reached out to Rihanna for a feature collaboration on his newest project.

“I think there might be a dope Rihanna and Chris Brown song coming this year. These two have collaborated before and make dope hit music so when they come together you can expect something crazy.”

The source adds that the duo have been in talks to collaborate on a new project for a while, noting that Rihanna has “agreed” to work with her ex on his upcoming album.

“This is something that they have been talking about for a while now but it was his idea original to get her on his upcoming album. She agreed that they should do another song so it’s almost a done deal.”

Law enforcement officials responded to three L.A. nightclubs Thursday when large crowds gathered to see the rapper Future, prompting the cancellation of two free concerts in West Hollywood and two partial closures of Sunset Boulevard. The first 800 people in line were guaranteed entrance to the House of Blues, according to an Instagram post from the rapper, but sheriff’s officials at the scene said some 1,200 people showed up.

Within 30 minutes crowds had formed in front of the House of Blues and dozens of law enforcement vehicles took formation, blocking the street.

About two blocks of Sunset Boulevard was closed in front of the House of Blues between North La Cienega Boulevard and North Kings Road around 10:30 p.m., Sky5 aerials showed.

A few weeks ago, Cash Money CEO Bryan 'Birdman' Williams and rapper Young Thug were named in an indictment, alleging they conspired to kill Lil Wayne over their ongoing contract dispute. Sources close to Birdman insist its not true…TMZ reports;

Birdman is finally breaking his silence on the Lil Wayne shooting, and despite police docs tying him and Young Thug to the suspect - he's denying any involvement in a murder-for-hire plot. Sources close to Wayne and Birdman confirm to TMZ what police docs insinuated ... that Birdman got a phone call on April 26, shortly after the bus was shot up in Atlanta. As we reported, police knew the call was placed between 2 phones registered to Birdman.

We're told the call came from someone in Wayne's camp who was understandably pissed, and anxious to tell Birdman what went down shortly before the shooting -- that Jimmy Carlton Winfrey had been kicked out of a club for harassing Wayne.

Winfrey was eventually arrested and charged with the shooting. Our sources say Birdman assured Wayne he was not involved in any way, and vowed to help figure out who was behind it.

With a size 16 frame and 32JJ breasts, Sophia Adams is a far cry from the slender models that strut the catwalks. So when the 21-year-old won a year’s modelling contract, no one was more shocked than her. The trainee police officer knew the odds were against her when she entered the contest for plus-size lingerie brand, Curvy Kate.

Sophia endured years of cruel taunts - “fatty”, “man-beast”, “whale” and even “big jugs” from a young age and never imagined she would have the courage to step out on stage in a bikini.

But after beating more than 1,000 curvy contestants, Sophia nabbed the top spot and prestigious prize in the company’s annual Star in a Bra competition. Now modelling agencies up and down the country have made her offers, all keen to snap her up. And her boyfriend of five years, Adrian Antonie, a council tax worker, remains her “rock”.

The half-Greek, half-Iranian beauty says: “Now I’ve won, I hope all the nasty, horrible bullies flick through the magazines and see me. I’ll have the last laugh now I’m a plus-size model.”

Sophia admits she thought she was too big even for a plus-size competition. She recalls: “There were girls at the auditions with stunning bodies. But when they announced I had won, I couldn’t believe it. It was madness — it’s still surreal even now.

“I have always embraced my curves, but I felt so much bigger than the other girls I was competing against. I feel so much sexier now I’ve won. I love my body and my larger breasts, just like Kim Kardashian does.”

During school, Sophia was always teased about her larger frame and bigger bust.
Sophia, who now weighs 13st 7lb, says:

“My boobs started growing when I was nine, so I was very developed compared to the other girls. In primary school I would get left out of a lot of games. The children would say things like, ‘it’s a two-person game’, and similar childish remarks. They’d call me fatty and tubby — they didn’t know how much their words used to hurt me. It never made me want to lose weight, I’d just eat more and more.

“I’d try dieting but I like my food too much. I’m really healthy with what I choose to eat, plus my figure is so prominent because I’m so short and my boobs are huge. But now it’s my time. I have finally bounced back from the bullies’ comments and fully embraced my curves and larger breasts.”

Despite her new-found confidence about her body, Sophia, from Northolt, North West London, hasn’t always enjoyed being the bigger girl.
Sophia says:

“I was always envious of the skinny girls throughout school, and when my breasts started to develop, I realised there was no chance I would ever be like them. After leaving school I became a bra fitter and some friends told me about this competition. They persuaded me to enter.

“I never thought I’d get through the first round, especially growing up with all the horrible remarks.”

Sophia still catches men — and sometimes women — ogling her and often gets wolf-whistled.
She says: “Despite all the negative comments I’ve had in the past, I had a thirst to prove something to myself.

“Sometimes I think women look at me in envy as my confidence is always shining through and sometimes I think they look at me because they think I’m fat.”

Reggae star, Majek Fashek who is currently struggling with drug addiction says he is scared of going to rehab after his last experience in America. According to the singer who spoke with Encomium magazine, rehab weakens a person's mind. He said his first contact with Rehab in the US really helped him

"Yeah, America really helped me. Most American superstars go to rehab because they take cocaine, heroin and the likes which makes them "too high". So they have to go to rehab. Rehab helps calm their brains after which they go back to their business. For me rehab was helpful. I was high but after rehab, I got my contract with Top Gun International. That's Bob Marley's label. I got it through his wife Rita Marley and an American woman, Cassandra. Rehab calms the brain so it won't explode. It calmed me." he said 

Asked if he ever stopped taking hard drugs after Rehab, Majek says

"I am scared of Rehab. Let me tell you what I did to escape the rehab. God gave me different knowledge of Orisha, babalawo knowledge. My ancestral knowledge which is what I am using right now. I now drink akpeteshie. It's the orisha idea i got."he said

Asked if he preferred akpeteshie (ogogoro) to rehab, Majek said 

"I prefer akpeteshie in the sense that the white man's drugs weakens your mind, might not even be able to have sex" he said

Majek who has been separated from his wife, Rita, for a while now says he will accept her back if she apologies to him

"It's up to my wife. If she loves me. She is a woman. She won't live forever. Nobody can except God. If she loves her children, she will reunite with me so I can help them. It was the celestial church that confused her. They gave her wrong vision about me. The celestial church can't try me anyday, anytime. I will attack them. I am Laura, not celestial. I will burn them. I am equipped spiritually. you no see wetin i put there(points to a praying mat with a huge bible and an Islamic talisman on it). If she's she will apologize. And when she does, I will take her back" he said
