2016 South African Hip Hop Awards - Complete Winners List

Few days ago, precisely on Wednesday being December 14th, the fifth edition of Annual South African Hip-Hop Awards was held as the Lyric Theater, Gold Reef City, Johannesburg, played host.

The accolade which celebrate the biggest and best contribution to the development of the country's (South Africa) hip-hop music saw the Family Tree leading act - Cassper Nyovest top of the winners list with five awards in as much nomination. Closely followed is non other but the 2016 MAMAs' Best Hip-Hop Act - Emtee who take home three accolades.

Notable absent on the list is non other but one of my favorite SA Hip-Hop/Rap Music heavyweight - AKA.
