Arsenal have been handed a blow in their pursuit of 2015-16 PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez as the Leicester City chairman has issued a hands-off warning.
The chair of the Premier League champions, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, has posted a photo of himself gripping Mahrez by the ears on his official Instagram account:

Arsenal have been strongly linked with a move for the midfielder this summer with some reports suggesting the Premier League giants were closing in on a £37 million deal for the 25-year-old last week.
There have also been reports that the player himself wants to leave the King Power Stadium. After Srivaddhanaprabha’s photo it remains unclear what Mahrez’s plans for the future are.
Alex Shilton from the Sun has quoted Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri as saying the player may be “distracted” by the exit”rumours and speculation”.
The Italian coach has previously admitted he would not get in the way of any of his players wanting to leave this summer. So far the club have only lost N’Golo Kanté to Chelsea.
Riyad Mahrez will be an excellent player for which ever club he plays for this season. The Algerian international is both a playmaker and goalscorer, chipping in with 17 goals and 11 assists on the way to Leicester’s shock Premier League title success last season.
He’s an excellent dribbler and a nice finisher and would certainly be an excellent addition to the Arsenal side who currently have a choice between Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the right wing.
