Summer signings join United stars in Mourinho's training session - originally posted on Soccerlens.com
Jose Mourinho was appointed as Manchester United manager in May as he replaced Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford. Since joining the Red Devils, the Portuguese tactician has already started working with his players at his new club.
United have already completed three signings this summer and the list includes the likes of defender Eric Bailly, striker Zlatan Ibrahimović and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Apart from the former Swedish international, the two new signings were spotted in the training sessions.
The 20-time English champions kick-start their pre-season fixture as they take on Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium this Saturday. United will then make a trip to the Far East, where they will face Mkhitaryan’s former club Borussia Dortmund and local rivals Manchester City in China.
Juan Mata’s future at Old Trafford remains uncertain. Mourinho sold the attacker to United, when he was the manager at Chelsea in January 2014. He revealed the reason behind allowing him to leave the Blues and the Spain international could be heading for the exit in the summer transfer window, according to the reports.
However, Mata was also spotted during the training session. A few photos from the training session are shown below.
