Conte a fan of South American; Star wants Chelsea transfer; Agent arriving in London for talks - originally posted on Soccerlens.com
Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado is pushing for a permanent move away from the club.
The Colombian winger spent last season on loan at Juventus and wants to stay in Serie A now.
Earlier there were reports of an agreement between the clubs for a permanent transfer, but the arrival of Conte changed things. Apparently the Italian manager is a big fan of the player and wants to keep the Colombian at the club.
The Colombian arrived for a lot of money from Fiorentina back in January 2015, but the Serie A winger failed to impress. Mourinho was quick to get rid of the deadwood and the South American was loaned to Juventus at the start of last season.
The former Fiorentina player has done well after returning to Serie A and the Italian champions are willing to make the move permanent.
According to latest reports, Cuadrado’s agent is set to arrive in London soon and will inform Chelsea about his client’s desire to leave. However, Juventus are now unwilling to pay for the winger and wants to sign him on loan once again.
It remains to be seen if Abramovich will sanction another loan deal for a the player or whether Conte chooses to keep him at Chelsea next season.
