Prince is to be honoured by his former wife Manuela Testolini with the opening of a school in his name.
Manuela has revealed she had not long reached out to the ‘Purple Rain’ singer – who was tragically found dead in an elevator at his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota on Thursday, April 21, 2016 – to tell him she wanted to build the school in his memory.
She told Entertainment Today: ‘I just reached out to [Prince] a few days ago to let him know that I was building a school in his honour. My heart aches that the school will now be built in his memory.’
The former couple were married from 2001 to 2006.
