Reports flying around that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) named Jose Mourinho Super Eagles coach are nothing but April fool pranks.
But we can tell you, on the basis of today’s date, that the NFF is begging sacked coach Sunday Oliseh to come finish what he started.
‘We want Oliseh back,’ an NFF official who doesn’t want to be named said on Friday.
‘You know our boss Amaju Pinnick hasn’t changed his mind that Oliseh is the Guardiola of Africa.
‘As I’m speaking with you, the NFF has sent a delegation to Belgium to beg Oliseh to return to lead the boys to glory,’ the official said.
In February, Oliseh resigned from coaching the Eagles over NFF ‘vested interests’.
