CHAIRMAN, League Management Company (LMC), Shehu Dikko has declared that Sunday Oliseh is in Kigali with the best legs of players plying their trade in the domestic scene.
Dikko, while giving the Eagles technical crew a pat on the back said he was confident the team would do well, given the caliber of players in the squad.
“My joy is that they picked the best legs in the Glo Premier League. At least, four of the players in Kigali are good enough to make the main Super Eagles team as we speak. The coaches went for players that are the best irrespective of the performance of the team they are playing for. Chima Akas, who is the captain of the side is from a relegated side, Sharks yet the coaches spotted him. Players like Paul Onobi, Bartholomew Ibenegbu, Chisom Chikatara are very hot and I see them shinning in the tournament.”
The LMC boss who is the second vice president of the NFF board said the CHAN Eagles would by their performance in Rwanda prove that the Glo Premier League is on the upward swing.
