Lyngby Boldklub announce signing of Oke Akpoveta

(File)Danish First Division club Lyngby Boldklub have announced that Oke Akpoveta has joined them on a one - year contract.
Soon after Brønshøj were demoted from the second - tier, the ex-Warri Wolves striker decided to prematurely terminate the agreement binding both parties and it didn't take him long before he found a new employer.
Akpoveta was a regular fixture for Bronshoj last season, scoring 5 goals in 26 league appearances and those strikes are supplemented by two more in the DBU Landspokal.
The 23 - year - old arrived in Denmark during the 2011 - 2012 season but could not play more than seven games for Brondby in the Superliga after damaging his anterior cruciate ligament in a reserve team fixture against FC Copenhagen.
In the winter of 2014, he moved to Azerbaijani Premier League club Ravan but parted company with them at season's end after they lost their topflight status.
He was wanted by unnamed teams in Sweden and Denmark before agreeing a deal with Lyngby Boldklub.
