Although there are no official reports from her management yet, rumours persist that she died after being electrocuted as she tried to charge her phone while on set at the home of a popular music video director for a video shoot.

Her death was all the more shocking because she was such an energetic and bubbly person, and had even been sharing photos of herself on Instagram only a few hours before she died.

Picture Kodak, also known as Love Divine, had featured in music videos with Nigerian artistes such as Olamide, Burna Boy, Blaqbonez, etc.

She was loved and admired by fellow dancers, the artistes she worked with, and by her social media community. Some of them have taken to social media to express their sadness about her tragic death.

Blaqbonez expressed his disbelief at the news via Twitter, saying:

‘The vixen in the Haba Video, ‘picture Kodak’ just died, it hurts so much cos we became close after, I don’t know how to handle my emotions.

RIP PICTURE KODAK. I will always remember you for the amazing person that you were, you brought life to everything you touched, it’s too hard for me to grasp the concept of your death but I hope you’re in a better place.’
YNBL boss, Olamide shared a photo of himself with Kodak with the caption ‘Rest up Kodak’ and a heartbroken emoji.
Dancer, Poco Lee shared this as well:
‘Nothing is Promised!!! A real hustler a good energetic friend…She has a great Vibe! This Same dance that really ain’t paying was still your greatest passion cause you have a great vision towards it…You said You wanted to travel abroad now this!! God have Mercy🙏 Rest In Peace We love & Miss You❤️😭🕊’

Another popular dancer, Korra Obidi, also expressed shock at the recent turn of events:

‘RIP Legend. @picturekodak Someone please wake me up. This must be a dream. Electrocuted? This cannot be real. Please DM and tell me everything is ok! You were the most selfless person I ever worked with. Omg I can’t breathe!’

Picture Kodak’s early death is an unfortunate blow to the entertainment industry. She will be greatly missed.

Our good wishes and thoughts go out to her family.
