Chris Sutton brutally mocks Rangers star following his latest admission on Sky Sports - originally posted on Sportslens.com
Rangers skipper James Tavernier has told Sky Sports that the Ibrox club will look to maintain their winning mentality if the Scottish Premiership is able to restart this term.
The Light Blues (with a game in hand) are currently 13 points behind league leaders Celtic with eight games to go, and except Neil Lennon’s men suffer a huge setback, they are massive favourites to win the title – their ninth in a row.
The Hoops have only lost twice in 30 league games, winning 26 and drawing the remaining two.
On the other hand, Rangers have lost four times, drawing four and winning 21 games, and catching up with Celtic is almost impossible.
Hoops legend Chris Sutton can’t believe Tavernier’s ‘winning mentality’ claims given the Gers’ struggles at times this term, and he has brutally mocked the right-back, reacting thus on Twitter:
amazing what a month away from football does for the confidence… https://t.co/6PHgKiYzXH

The coronavirus pandemic has forced Scottish football to be put on hold, with the lower leagues of the SPFL already declared to be over.
The Scottish Premiership could follow suit, and the campaign could be decided based on the current standings if football isn’t able to resume soon.
That would see Celtic crowned as champions, and it will be interesting to see how Rangers react to the decision.
