Last weekend at an exclusive party to celebrate Alex Okosi, ace comedian Bovi who was one of the hosts of the night took a few minutes to talk about the impact of the man who brought MTV to Africa on the entertainment industry in the continent.
Speaking to the star-studded audience which included top celebrities like Rita Dominic, 2Baba, Basketmouth, Tolu ‘Toolz’ Oniru, Michelle Dede and personalities like Ben Murray-Bruce, Nduka Obaigbena, Chris Ubosi, Deola Art-Alade and more, Bovi said: “Alex came and redefined the game. From the moment MTV Base birthed in Nigeria, the likes of 2Face became a worldwide phenomenon.”
