The weekend in the BBNaija house is always filled with a lot of activities, from the Saturday challenge, the Saturday party, the glam sessions, the diary sessions to the eviction show. That is why it is important to catch up on anything you may have missed while you were enjoying your weekend.
So to help you catch up, here are 8 things that happened this weekend in the BBNaija house:
1. The Scanfrost Challenge: On Saturday, the housemates had to participate in the Scanfrost challenge and everyone won something. The housemates were tasked to sell different models of the Scanfrost brand to viewers and then winners were picked. Khafi who has been on a winning streak won this challenge and got a 55″ smart TV. Sir Dee placed second and won a 50″ Smart TV, Ike who came third won a 42″ Smart TV, while Elozonam got the fourth place and a 40″ LED TV. Every other housemate also won a microwave for their good work.
2. The Saturday Night Party: This was probably one of the most fun party this season. Housemates were sufficiently drunk and possibly high on the totally awesome turntable skills of DJ Kentalky. Also, Big Brother finally forgave Tacha and gave her an outfit for the party that eventually sold out before the end of the party.
3. Ike and Mercy Fight: It is becoming some sort of tradition for the resident Bonnie and Clyde in the house to get into elaborate fights after the party. It used to be with other housemates but it has now spiraled into nasty couple spats. The real problem they seem to be having is that their truth comes spewing out after one of them is drunk.
4. Strategy Studies: The housemates were asked what their strategy is during the diary session on Sunday and they all claimed they were being themselves. However, when asked what they thought other housemates’ strategies were, they knew just what to say. Housemates think that Esther was using Frodd as a strategy, Diane wanted to sneak into the final, Mike liked to use everyone to catch trips, and so much more.
5. Eviction: The eviction show this week saw Sir Dee and Esther saying bye-bye to Biggie’s house. It also made Frodd cry like a baby and made Diane break down. We also saw the Ice Queen, Tacha show some emotion after Sir Dee left (finally!).
6. LAX Performed: The talented artist performed three of his biggest hits during the eviction show on Sunday. He performed Runaway, Ginger, and Gwara Gwara. The performance was so good, we’d have run away with him if he asked us.
7. Jidenna’s Surprise Appearance: Right before the eviction show started, Jidenna visited the house and Biggie asked the housemates to freeze so they could not react to his presence. He also appeared during the show and then came back into the house after the show to have a talk with the housemates.
8. Veto Power Game: Seyi won the Veto Power Holder title for the second time this season after going through the 3 stages and a tie with his BFF in the house, Tacha. Seyi now has the power to decide who he wants to be replaced and saved after the nomination challenge on Monday evening.
