The Big Brother task for this week was the Oppo Runway Task Presentation and the housemates really peppered us with their colourful outfits.
The housemates were tasked to create a coordinated Neon Gradient themed fashion line that reflected the 3D colour gradient of the Oppo F11 Pro Thunder Black and Aurora Green phones. They divided themselves into four teams of either four or five housemates.
Each team then created their outfits from scratch, with different roles for each team member in the groups. Each team had to have a photographer, one or two top models, one stylist, and one hair and makeup person. The reward for the winner was revealed to be a million naira with each member of the winning team also getting an Oppo F11 Pro smartphone which would be gifted to their loved ones outside the house.
The housemates got to work and created their beautiful designs for the Runway show. They made their hair, wore makeup, got dressed and were ready to go. Each team had a theme for their look and created names to match the team. The four teams consisted of The Icons, Vice City, Team Fresh and Odd and Team Gedoni.
Each team presented their own unique and fresh look. Members of the Icons were Tacha, Seyi, Khafi, and Sir Dee. They decided to create a fusion between the old and the new, so they had a splash of the traditional (asoebi) look during their presentation. Members of the Vice City team were Mike, Enkay, Elozonam and Jackye. They had a playful, sexy and fun look that represented the personality of each housemate on the team.
The members of Team Gedoni were obviously Gedoni and the rest of his team – Omashola, Diane, Esther and Joe. They were the first team to strut on the runway and their display looked very beautiful. Gedoni described their style as bold, daring and dangerous with an infusion of beautiful and colourful designs. The last team was the Fresh and Odd team that included Frodd, Mercy, Venita and Ik and they also had very colourful outfits. Their outfits were very different and could be considered to be fashion statements.
After the end of their runway show, Big Brother announced that the winner will be revealed on Sunday. He also told the housemates that he was very impressed with the work they put in for the show. Also, housemates are to wear the outfits they designed to the Saturday party.
