While Seyi has the record for winning Big Brother Head of House back to back, Esther has broken the record for being the first female housemate to win the Head of House challenge twice. Oh wait, she is the only female in the Big Brother Naija house to ever win the Head of House challenge and now she has won it twice.

The Head of House challenge for this week is one of the physically simpler tasks in the house so far but it was mentally tasking. It was also one of the fastest tasks executed in the house. The housemates were expected to pick letters one after the other from a bowl to form words that were neither animals, places or things.

After the first round of the game, some of the housemates including Venita, Mike, Tacha, and Diane were disqualified for picking more than one letter from the bowls at a time. After spelling a total of seven words correctly each, Elozonam, Esther, Frodd, Ike, Khafi, and Seyi made it to the second round of the game.

For the second round of the game, the housemates were expected to spell only one word each, with the person who had the longest word emerging as the winner. However, there were two housemates who came up with the longest words, and so, Elozonam and Esther made it into the third and final round.

At the end of the second round and after spelling the longest word, Esther beat Elozonam to the title of Head of House for week eight. She is the only woman to have won the Head of House task this season and winning it for a second time is very impressive.

Seyi immediately transferred the HOH tag to Esther with a bow and all the housemates celebrated with her as she asked to share the HOH privileges with Frodd. She also won 250 Bet9ja coins for herself and 20 Bet9ja coins for all the members of her Cruisetopia group.
