Nigerian Singer, Aramide To Be Inducted Into GRAMMYs’ Governing Board



Nigerian singer-songwriter, Aramide Sarumoh popularly known as Aramide has been announced as one of the global music personalities to be inducted into the Washington DC  Chapter of the Recoding Academy governing board of the GRAMMYs.

The award-winning Iwo Nikan crooner took to Twitter earlier today to share the news of her appointment after a series of tweets where she gushed about what music means to her and the amount of impact she’s been able to make through her music.

“And today I’m happy to announce to you that after being an active voting member of the recording academy for years, this Monday, I will be inducted into the Recording Academy (the GRAMMYs®) Governance Board. I will now be a part of the Governors for the Washington DC Chapter board,” she stated.

 

Aramide will be joining other 18 new inductees from around the world including Mai Mouna ‘Mumu Fresh’ Youssef, Tracey Lee, Tamara Wellons among many others.
