‘The Event Xperience Africa’ Conference Set For Maiden Edition This January



Registration has begun for the maiden edition of THE EVENT XPERIENCE AFRICA (TEXA) – a conference designed to bring together event professionals from around Nigeria and Africa which is set to begin in a few days.

Tagged BE MORE…DO MORE…INSPIRING NEW FRONTIERS, the conference aims to discuss industry issues, growth opportunities and global trends in the sector.

TEXA which targets event and allied industry professionals plus beginners alike will hold from January 15th to 17th 2019 at the Landmark Centre in Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos. It will feature Curated classes, Networking sessions, Panel sessions with speakers and topics ranging from the Business side of events (Finance, Legal, Branding and Marketing), leveraging Technology, Professionalism beyond the craft and creativity, Hospitality and creating memorable events, attaining global event excellence and so much more.

According to organizers, TEXA was put together, not only for Event Planners, but also, Event Designers and decorators, Concert and Show Producers, Bakers/Caterers, Audio Visual experts (Lighting, cinematographers, photographers, screens etc.), Entertainment specialists (Musicians/Bands, Dancers) and all service providers in the event space.

Also targeted are Corporate Stakeholders such as Brand and Corporate Communications Managers as well as Experiential Marketing companies.

Participants will be taken on an exciting, informative, insightful and unusual experience, as they would be exposed to event trade secrets, and discuss emerging global issues and innovations in the industry.

Dignitaries expected to speak at the conference include the Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria Ltd, Mrs Ibukun Awosika who will give a Keynote Speech. Others are veteran Lebanese Wedding Planner and Designer
Ziad Nassar of Once Events, US Based Event Planner Chioma Dure of Dure Events and Dubai Wedding Planner, Zainab Alsalih of Carousel Weddings and Events.

Also speaking are industry icons such as Mrs Yewande Zaccheus, Edi Lawani, Steve Babaeko, Jide Odukoya, Bovi, Dj Obi, DJ Spinall, Tosan Jemide (of Cakes by Tosan) and many other renowned speakers from the fields of Technology, Entertainment, Business and Finance, Media etc.
