#SurvivingRKelly: Lady Gaga Apologizes For Past Collaboration With R. Kelly; Takes Song Off Streaming Platforms



American pop star, Lady Gaga, has tendered a heartfelt public apology for her 2013 collaboration with embattled RnB singer, R. Kelly, who is currently plagued with series of sexual allegations.

According to 32-year-old’s statement posted on Twitter after the recent Lifetime documentary series which chronicled allegations of abuse, predatory behaviour, and paedophilia against singer R.Kelly, Gaga said she will bee removing her 2013 collaboration “Do What U Want” with Kelly from iTunes and other streaming services.

In the statement, Gaga said she made the record at a time in her life when she was angry and defiant as a result of what she went through as someone who also is a victim of sexual assault after he was sexually assaulted at age 19.

She also committed to always stand by anyone who has ever been the victim of sexual assault.
