This is coming as the late singer’s estate has denounced the documentary, saying it’s “yet another lurid production in an outrageous and pathetic attempt to exploit and cash in on Michael Jackson.”

Sundance said Wednesday that “Leaving Neverland” is about two boys who accused Michael Jackson of sexual abuse. A description of the documentary says it will tell the story of two men who are now in their 30s and began long-running relationships with Jackson when they were aged 7 and 10 during the height of Jackson’s illustrious career.

The names of the accusers in the documentary were however not released.

The documentary is produced and directed by BAFTA-winning director Dan Reed.

The Sundance Film Festival kicks off on Jan 24 and runs through Feb. 4.
