On Sunday night, four candidates running to be elected as governor of Lagos State went head-to-head at The Platform Debate organized by Covenant Christian Centre. It was an opportunity for the candidates to share their plans if elected as governor.
All four of them- Babatunde Badamosi (Action Democratic Party), Babajide Sanwo-Olu (All Progressives Congress), Jimi Agbaje (Peoples Democratic Party) and Owolabi Salis (Alliance for Democracy), were queried on matters of policy, economy, education, power supply and a number of others.
Neusroom studied the words said by the candidates, approximately ten thousand words, to see which were the most frequently used on the night. “People” appears to be the word of choice among the candidates. Other words that jump out are “Lagos”, “government”, “thank”, “going”, “will” and “problem”.
Below is the word cloud illustrating what the candidates said.
