The Four Visual Artists To Look Out For At BAFEST’s Film, Arts And Fashion Park



It’s just about 72 hours to the Born In Africa Festival and we can’t wait for all the fun and glamour. In case you missed it, BAFEST isn’t all about the music and dance, it also about celebrating Africa’s arts and culture. Amazing and award-winning visual artists will be showcasing their artworks at the exhibition.  Here are four visual artists you should look out for at BAFEST’s Film, Arts and Fashion Park.

 

Uche Edochie

Uche is an artist, painter, photographer and entrepreneur who showcased his work at local and international exhibitions. Uche will be showing us his artworks on Sunday at the born In Africa Festival Park. His works are in private and public collections in Africa, Asia, North America and Europe. Uche also painted the official portrait of Nigeria’s former president Olusegun Obasanjo.

 

Olumide Onadipe

Onadipe a graduate of painting and Masters’ of Fine Art holder has taken part in numerous exhibitions in the United Kingdom, Ghana, and Nigeria will also be showcasing his artworks at SAFEST. Olumide reuses plastic shopping bags, water sachets, juice packs, and newspapers as tools for his designs and paintings making them unique and a beauty to behold.

 

Isaac Emokpae

Award-winning Nigerian visual artist. Isaac Emokpae will also be showcasing his arts at the BAFEST film, Arts and fashion park on Sunday. Isaac is a photographer, visual artist and painter. His works have been used on Forbes and other international media.

 

Tolu Aliki

Tolu is a contemporary figurative artist, most of his works have found greatest expression when addressing the concept of passion; Love, Music, family and everyday social interactions. His works exhibit a high standard of understanding and application of colours, depth of content and aesthetic beauty. Tolu will be unleashing his creativity this Sunday at BAFEST Film, Arts and Fashion park.

Music stars like Awilo, Dbanj, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Davdo, Kizz Daniel, Burna Boy, Falz, Flavour, Timaya and many more will be thrilling fans and party lovers to performances of their back to back hits at BAFEST from 6pm on Sunday.
