Photos From Annie Idibia’s “AI Care Foundation” Outreach For 500 Women In Ikorodu

Recently in Abule Alaru, a settlement just outside of Ikorodu in Lagos, State; actress Annie Idibia hosted an outreach event for women and children through her charity organization, AI Care Foundation. Unsurprisingly, the women of the community reached out en masse as Annie, who is married to pop legend 2Baba– along with her Nollywood friends Osas Ighodaro-Adegbenro and Lillian Esoro– provided financial assistance, domestic supplies and even food items to the community. “It’s the little things that matter“, she wrote of the event afterwards. “I met over 500 mothers… It was so emotional and so heartbreaking knowing that what they are begging for is the tiniest things… They are not asking for luxury, just very very tiny capital to sell food, slippers, kpomo etc so they can feed their kids.”
