It was an evening of glitz and glamour as top celebrities gathered to witness the 2nd edition of The Pacesetter Entertainment and Recognition Awards PERA 2018 at Jogor Centre on Sunday 9th December.
The award according to PERA Executive Producer & CEO of COK MEDIA, Mr ROTIMI MARTINS a.k.a Alariwo of Africa is established to acknowledge, encourage and celebrate excellence amongst indigenes and residents of Oyo state who have made an indelible mark in their chosen career.
It is also the largest coming together of Oyo state biggest and brightest entertainment and business stakeholders thereby creating an avenue to project the socio-cultural legacy from Oyo state to Nigeria, Africa and the rest of the world.
The award recognises individuals who have made their mark in 35 different categories and sectors including the Judiciary, Sports, Movie, Comedy, Media, Arts, Politics, Business, Banking, Tourism, Insurance, Oil &Gas, Catering, Event Planning, Security and many more.
PERA Awards is tagged as the Grammy and the Oscars of Oyo state and this year’s event was themed ‘Celebrate, Elevate and Appreciate’.
