Nigerian veteran controversial musician, Charly Boy aka Area Fada, has dropped a bombshell this morning, stating that he is set to divorce his wife of 35 years – Diane Oputa.

The musician and activist announced on Twitter that he’ll be divorcing Lady D today to remarry tomorrow, December 15th.
Oputa gave his reason for the decision as “See finish” which in Nigerian context means that they’ve gotten too used to each other hence it “is time for a new vow,” he says.
“Life is short so I’m living it like a gangster,” he adds.
