Five Star Music singer, Kcee has declared intention to run for governor of his home state, Anambra in the election holding later this year in November.
This is coming a week after Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie also announced plans to run for governorship in the same state.
While Yul’s slogan is tagged ‘The Last Bus Stop’, Kcee’s mantra is tagged ‘Attention to Detail’.
When NET TV reached out to Kcee through his manager, Chidozie Dike, he said Kcee’s plan is not joining politics to make money, instead, he wants to serve his people.
‘Our people have been deceived for a very long time, it is time to take the bull by the horn,’ Kcee’s manager said.
On his part, Yul Edochie said via Instagram that there is so much suffering in Anambra, an issue which he plans to eradicate if voted into power.
