Short film about natural hair, Hair That Moves, is about a young black girl who attends a suburban private school, which leads to her fascination with coveting wavy locks over her short stubborn afro.
The South African film was co-produced by Focus Features and the National Film and Video Foundation. Hair That Moves is currently being developed into a feature film.
The film made the San Antonio International Film Festival, The FiSahara Film Festival and the Zanzibar International Film Festival selections.
