A ‘professional physiotherapist’, Anthonia Bisola Abayomi-Ojo, was caught on camera manhandling a child suffering from cerebral palsy in Lagos on June 2016.
The child was put under Bisola’s ‘special care.’
During the abuse that lasted about an hour, she ignored the suffering child to take selfies with her phone.
Bisola would later leave Nigeria for the United States after receiving the Mandela Award to further her studies in Physiotherapy.
The child’s father reportedly said ‘he could never understand the motivation for her actions seeing she was well paid.’
He reportedly said Bisola was ‘highly recommended and they had no reason to doubt her competence until they saw the shocking video.’
There is an ongoing petition going out to the department of Homeland Security to rescind the award and her US visa.
