Remember Pennywise, the clown from the Stephen King’s 1990 horror miniseries? Oh, you probably weren’t born then.
Anyway, the story followed the lives of seven friends who battled to stop an evil child-murdering clown.
Now, 27 years later, there’s a reboot and the trailer is enough to send chills down your spine. Literally.
The opening scene sees a boy of about eight years old playing with a paper boat which then floats down a running drainage.
Upon poking his head into the drainage to look for his boat, the clown appears.
The boy is declared missing and later scenes show a group of seven friends searching for him.
The group of friends include Stranger Things actor, Finn Wolfhard and Jaeden Lieberher from Midnight Special, along with other young actors.
The movie will be released to theatres on September 8.
