As some Nigerians had fear, the MMM (Mavrodi Mundial Moneybox) scheme that had made the headlines in recent months has been put on a hiatus by the operators till January 2017.
In an email sent to its numerous subscribers, the operators announced a one month freeze on all transactions, meaning that no subscriber would be paid the mouthwatering dividend that has been touted since it started.
Although the promised to be back in one month, this subtle disclaimer on the Twitter feed would definitely cause its millions of subscribers to worry.
MMM has always advised that you use your #SpareMoney.
Use your #SpareMoney and #SpareMoney only. Don’t be unnecessarily greedy.
