Arsenal host Reading in the EFL Cup later today and the Gunners will be looking to extend their fine run of form with another win.

The Londoners will be without Per Mertesacker, Danny Welbeck and Chuba Akpom. Ramsey and Jenkinson are back in training and could play a part here. Granit Xhaka served the first of his three-match suspension against Boro and will be suspended for this one as well. Santi Cazorla will miss out as well with an Achilles injury.

Arsenal will be too hot to handle for the Championship outfit. Their form has been questionable over the last month and they will be up against the most in-form team from the Premier League here.
The home side should be able to find a way past Reading’s resistance and secure their passage into the next round with a comfortable win.
