Manchester United Agree Fee For Two Players 24 Hrs After Signing Pogba - originally posted on Soccerlens.com

Jose Mourinho got what he wanted. The Portuguese wanted four signings from Ed Woodward and the United executive vice-chairman granted his wish in a grand way.

Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan represents two smart pieces of business while Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba, two world class players, made headlines with their moves. The Swede star arrived on free while United broke the bank to secure a world record transfer for Pogba.

With these signings, Manchester United have probably closed the door for any more addition this summer, but out-going transfers may take place. In less than 24 hours, after Pogba’s signing was announced, it seems United are actively working on clearing out the unwanted players from the club at the earliest.

According to reports from Sky Sports, Sunderland have agreed a fee with Manchester United for defenders Paddy McNair and Donald Love.

New Sunderland manager David Moyes hinted earlier this month that he may look to recruit players from his former club Manchester United as he plans a rebuilding job at the Wearside club.

Initially, Moyes showed an interest in Adnan Januzaj and Marouane Fellaini but has shifted his attention on bolstering the defence first.

Love, a talented young full-back made only two appearances for United while MacNair featured regularly in Louis van Gaal’s first season.

Jose Mourinho has signed centre-back Bailly while Luke Shaw has returned to full fitness again which means both Love and McNair are surplus to requirements at United.
