Spanish winger Sergi Canos is close to leaving Liverpool after the Merseyside outfit accepted a bid worth 4.5 million pounds for him.

The former Barcelona forward spent last season on loan at Brentford and impressed several Championship clubs with his scintillating displays. Canos scored 7 goals for Brentford and is a target for Bristol and Norwich this summer.

Liverpool Echo are now reporting that the Anfield giants have negotiated a buy back and a sell on clause for the Spanish attacker as well.

The 19 year old is now discussing personal terms with Norwich City. Contract talks with the player broke down earlier this summer as Liverpool refused to match his wage demands of around 10,000 pounds per week.

Canos is highly rated by the academy staff and he made his senior debut towards the end of last season against WBA in the Premier League.

In other news, Christian Benteke has now agreed personal terms with Crystal Palace, but Liverpool are yet to agree a fee for the out of favour Belgian striker.

The player is keen on regular first team football and does not want to stay on the bench at Liverpool. The Merseyside giants are keen to get the high earning striker off their books as well.

Earlier this summer Telegraph were reporting that Liverpool rejected a 25 million pounds bid for the Belgian international and are holding out for 30 million pounds.

It remains to be seen if Palace up their offer for Benteke now. If both clubs do manage to agree on a fee, a transfer should be completed swiftly.

Finally, Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe has travelled to Bournemouth for discussions regarding the personal terms.

The Cherries have had a 15 million pounds bid accepted for the young winger earlier this week.

The player missed Liverpool’s friendly win over Tranmere on Friday night after being given permission by the Reds to travel to the South Coast to hold talks with Bournemouth
