One of the sons of former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, Aminu and his Ghanaian lover, Nana Akyaa exchanged marital vows yesterday in a colourful white wedding held in Accra, Ghana yesterday.
Aminu is a product of Atiku and his Yoruba wife, Titi Atiku’s marriage. He is the last child of the couple.
Atiku couldn’t make it as he is in England to deliver a lecture at the London School of Economics. His wife and mother of the groom, Titi, and other family members were however in attendance at the colourful ceremony.
The elaborate wedding, brought together three different cultures – the Hausa, Yoruba and Ghana cultures.
The respected politician and businessman, who gave out three of his daughters in marriage on Friday November 13, 2015, has 27 children from five wives.
