Arsene Wenger has expressed his frustration following Arsenal’s 0-0 draw at home against Southampton.
The draw sees Arsenal drop to fourth in the league as Leicester City and Manchester City won.
Reacting to the draw, Wenger attributed the outcome of the game to poor finishing from his side.
“When you have our ambition, it’s of course frustrating [not to win],” Wenger told reporters post-match.
“We created 10 goal chances. The performance we wanted to produce was there. We started slowly but in the first half Ozil had two good chances.
“He had a brilliant game… but the quality of our finishing was poor.”
Wenger stated that they have to secure the three points in their next fixture away to Bournemouth.
“We have to respond quickly and win our next game.”
