SPFL fixtures: Celtic host Ross County in league opener



Celtic will begin their Scottish Premiership title defence with a home game against Ross County.
Newly promoted Hearts start their return to the top flight at home to St Johnstone in the first round of games on 1 August.
Jackie McNamara's Dundee United host Aberdeen in an opening-day New Firm derby at Tannadice.
The Championship kicks off a week later as Rangers face St Mirren, while Hibernian host Dumbarton.
In the other opening-day fixtures in the top flight, Hamilton take on Partick Thistle, Kilmarnock host Dundee and Inverness CT face Motherwell.
The fixtures were revealed as Scottish Professional Football League announced the 2015-16 fixtures for its four divisions.
SPF chief executive Neil Doncaster said: "Today is a key moment in the Scottish football calendar when supporters of all 42 clubs look ahead to a new season with great anticipation, excitement and hope."

United will host the first Dundee derby of the season on 12 August and Celtic face Hearts on 26 September.

Mark Warburton takes charge of Rangers for the new season, while Ian Murray starts his first campaign as St Mirren boss.
Elsewhere in the Championship on 8 August, Morton face Falkirk, Queen of the South take on Alloa and Raith Rovers host Livingston.
Rangers take on Hibernian at Ibrox on 22 August.

Albion Rovers begin life in Scottish League One with a home game against Ayr United after winning last season's fourth-tier title.

Cowdenbeath, who were demoted from the Championship at the end of 2014-15, entertain Stranraer, while Stirling Albion, who replaced Albion Rovers in League Two, host Clyde.
